SR and JD schedule two week-long projects, one in week seven and the other in week thirteen.

JDS schedules four or five projects, each taking one or two class sessions, evenly spaced through the last two-thirds of the semester. Some of these are really exercises in debugging and/or maintenance -- JDS writes a base program, sometimes with stubs, and students debug, complete, or extend it.

HW does one or two short projects -- CGI programming, Web page construction.
