It's nice to see that a document that I've been using more-or-less as long as I've been teaching Tutorial is still available. -- SamR

Main Points and Important Lessons
- A thesis is a critical part of any college-level writing - without one, your writing will lack focus.
- The revision process will not only improve flow, correct technical errors, and polish language, but also help to bring out the best points of any work.
- A writing lab can help you get started or help you to improve what you already have, but only if you let them help you by bringing something they can work with.
